These six irregular and discontiguous sites are comprised of lands from a reclaimed railway spur line. The rail line crossed through several city blocks and the municipal street grid in an angled, curving an unapologetic manner. The result today is a series of irregular lots slicing thorugh a post-war neighbourhood comprised of small detached bugalows.

The move to develop these derelict awkward parcels is disruptive at a minimum. The objective became to create a series of housing typologies that would be resectful of the exiting residential fabric while accomdating much needed growth in a neighbourhood located less than a 10-minute walk from the town's historic center.
