The design emphasizes the use of brick through a high-performance wall assembly with thin veneer masonry. This approach allows for a smaller mechanical footprint, replacing a large penthouse with a decentralized VRF system. The structure employs a steel frame with composite slabs, supporting both efficiency and flexibility.
The carefully tailored brick facade pays a respectful nod to Toronto’s rich legacy of masonry buildings along its avenues, integrating contemporary construction techniques with contextual character.
