The laneway project is indicative of Toronto’s progressive viewpoint on housing. Supported by over 2400 laneways covering more than 250 kilometres, the recent allowance of secondary suites may be regarded as the largest housing initiative in the city to date. With that kind of impact, we worked closely with a developer and builder to deploy a highly efficient mini-home capable of providing a flexible multi-genrational housing type.
